Welcome to Kihomi Safari
A human adventure in the heart of Tanzania
More than a safari, an encounter
Discover Tanzania in a different way, through the people who live there.
With Kihomi Safari, you don't follow a classic itinerary.
You are accompanied by Muna, a Maasai native to the region, who opens the doors to his daily life.
Shared moments, sincere encounters, and an immersion far from the tourist circuits.
This direct link also helps to support local initiatives, including a maternity ward in the Kombo region.

Our story
Kihomi Safari was born from a meeting between Roxane and Muna, a Maasai native to the Kilimanjaro region.
Muna grew up within the Maasai communities and knows these territories from the inside.
For my part, I worked for several years in the social and associative sector, with a strong conviction: travel can be a tool for encounters and impact when it is well thought out.
Together, we created Kihomi Safari to offer different safaris, more human, and rooted in local reality.
The founders

Roxane
With a background in the social and non-profit sector, Roxane has also been involved in wildlife and environmental conservation projects abroad.
At Kihomi Safari, she designs human-scale journeys, thoughtfully created with purpose and respect.

Muna
Deeply rooted in local communities, Muna has an intimate knowledge of the land, wildlife, and on-the-ground realities.
He ensures the authenticity and coherence of the experiences offered by Kihomi Safari.
