Our story
Kihomi Safari was born from a chance encounter in Tanzania between Roxane and Muna, two people from different worlds, brought together by a shared passion for culture and nature. Their friendship quickly deepened through an enriching exchange: Muna shared the legends and wisdom of his Maasai heritage, while Roxane introduced him to the diversity of France.
From this connection emerged a natural idea: to create something meaningful together. Muna, deeply rooted in the Maasai communities and an expert in wildlife and the environment, combined his knowledge with Roxane's background in social work and nature conservation.
Together, they founded Kihomi Safari : an agency dedicated to ethical and responsible tourism, working hand in hand with local communities. Their mission is clear: to offer unique and immersive experiences that honor and support Tanzania’s rich culture and natural heritage.
